How do you get past the maids and get into the restricted section of the mansion on route 212 in Pokemon platinum?

You have to go and ask the owner of the mansion what he saw in his garden (it changes each day). Then you go into his garden and get a full party of what he said he saw and you should gain access to the restricted area. -Maddie
