Where to find a serial number on a 1981 champion 22 ft boat with an inboard 150 hp motor?

on most water craft you will find the serial numbers in multiple locations. there should be the Hull ID number on the rear starboard corner, check the transom or around the engine compartment for ID plates and also check near the controls (even under the steering wheel) for additional ID plates
