Can you convert local ip to global ip?

You cannot directly convert a local IP address (such as those in the ranges of 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x, or 172.16.x.x to 172.31.x.x) to a global (public) IP address. Local IP addresses are used within a private network and are not routable on the internet. To access the global internet, a network device like a router uses Network Address Translation (NAT) to map local IP addresses to a single public IP address.
