What could cause you not to get current to the fuel pump in a 1993 ford explorer?

The first thing I think of is the fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) has

" tripped " It is located in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge

of the carpet , mounted on the toe board , just to the right of the transmission

hump

Then would be the fuel pump fuse , the fuel pump relay , or a bad wiring

connection
