What type of education is needed for becoming a prenatal nurse?

The requirement is to complete a nursing program and pass your licensure exam, then while working as a nurse, you can be assigned to a maternity unit and basically be trained on the job. There are also many continuing education courses you can take (in class or online) related to maternity that can focus you in that area of nursing.
