Why does your gas heater make a clicking noise every 60 seconds?

I personally am not sure either why mine might be making that exact noise itself.

However futile this response may be, I had to response in order to delete that immature "xcxcx" that some proud imbecile left in order to probably look "cool" or giggle himself to sleep.

Ahem,

with that said, I would advise you to personally ask at Yahoo!Answers, Other online services, or go to your local maintainance section.. (trying to be creative here :P)

And above all, if you have discovered the reason to it... (don't forget to tell ME! lol)

(Feel free to post here...) >>>> If your furnace does not have a standing pilot and this occurs at exact 60 second intervals it sounds to me as if the flame sensor has lost its signal and the ignition module is trying to relight the furnace. 60 seconds is the typical waiting period before a retrial for ignition following a flame failure.
