Can you drink energy drinks while taking coumadin?

I drank a lg Red Bull to chase down my meds. High BP meds. I ended up in the E.R. My heart felt like it was going to explode. My BP in the E.R. was 188/116. They asked me if I liked hospital food because I was not going home that night.
