Does rap music ruin your brain?

No...of course not. Loud music (of any kind) can cause hearing damage, but there is no music on earth that will give you brain damage. Saying that rap music ruins your brain is just racism disguised as science. It's something racist white parents tell their children, because they're afraid their children are going to start embracing black culture, like many white kids do today. It's also a way for them to deny to themselves that they are racist, and to justify their fear and dislike: in other Words, "I don't hate rap music because I'm racist. I hate it because it's bad for you." Basically, it's just a sugar-coated way of saying, "Black people are so degenerate that listening to their music will make you a degenerate brain-damaged thug, too."
