What are the defenses of snakes?

A snake defends itself by biting any living creature it views as a threat. Some snakes also can inject poison from their fangs into an attacker which is also a form of defense. Snakes such as Boa Constrictors can coil around other animals and cut of their ability to breathe, thus suffocating the victim.
