yes they do in fats 1gram=37.8 kjoules of energy. in carbohydrates polysaccharides are a type of carbohydrates. were 1gram= 16.80 kjoules of energy. their is less energy in carbohydrates because they give you quick energy during short strenuous activities. but fat take longer to work off because your body burns the carbs first then the fat so to burn fat you need to do long excises such as cardio it is the best workout to do.
