You take Adderall and you have a cold--what can you take for the cold?

Look on the back to see the active ingredients, check if it has alcohol, or opiates such as codeine (if your getting it over the counter in the us, it shouldn't have this), and I would avoid anything with dextromethorphan. Anything else should be good, but you can ask a pharmacist/ check online if any active ingredients have abuse potential, just to be safe. Most over the counter cold medications should be fine as long as they don't have the three drugs mentioned above.
