Schedule I controlled substances: : (A) The drug or other substance has high potential for abuse. : (B) The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. : (C) There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision. Schedule I controlled substances include heroin, marijuana, LSD, MDMA (ecstasy), Psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, GHB, peyote / mescaline, qualludes, 5-Meo-DIPT (foxy), THG (steroid), 2C-T-7, 2C-B, cathinone, AMT, bufotenin, BZP, DXO (metabolite of DXM, a cough suppresant). I do have an issue with this though. Many of these substances have shown to have medicinal value (or at least the potential for medicinal use). Two examples are: Marijuana has shown to be effective in treating the symptoms of many illnesses and a recent study on MDMA-assisted psychotherapy with PTSD clients had very positive results.
