What is a forest sanctuary?

A forest sanctuary is a forest that is set up with strictly limited access so that the animals, birds, insects and/or foliage that live in the forest can flourish. One purpose for a forest sanctuary is to provide a home for an endangered species, a species that is in danger of extinction. Many serve also as tourist attractions, like giant, outdoor, living museums.
