Are buff sex links the same as golden comets?

I believe golden comets are one of several buff sex link crosses (red or brown hens, white roosters). Golden comets are bred to be an ideal brown egg laying bird, they are smaller than other brown egg laying breeds, which tend to be medium to large, and thus eat less and still produce large numbers of nice, brown-shelled eggs.
