Do you have to win the time trials to get toadette?

What you have to do is, to do all the time trials. Even the ones you have to unlock!

After I did that...well I didn't have all the cups yet, but I just did those time trials and...

next I did a grand prix and I got a unlockable character!

From Elyse99:So you pretty much just do all the time trials in ALL the cups. You may not have to win all ( I didn't win 16, and I still got Birdo.) of them. Then do 1 Grand Prix And earn Toadette!
