St. Joseph's School in Onehunga, New Zealand, was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart. The congregation was established by Father Julian Tenison Woods and Mary MacKillop in Australia in 1866. The school opened in 1903 to provide Catholic education to the local community. The Sisters played a significant role in its development and operation.
