Yes...They can have chew-able. ( I have given them to my own dogs. I use to work in a kennel & have given medications to both dogs & cats.)
Dogs are given a lot of the same medications we take. They normally give dogs, children dosages. They are given the same Antibiotics that we take.
BUT, I wouldn't give them the gummy ones, as they will have trouble chewing them, plus they will get stuck to their teeth & their gums. And maybe hard to digest. ( It maybe amusing to us to watch them try & chew them, but, it's not a good idea!)
Like any medications, you have to know their weight & age, like you would with a child.
And.. I would always ask your Vet. before giving your dog any medications. Just like you would ask your child's doctor about giving your children chew- able.
Different breeds may not be able to have them. Vitamins can be hard to digest & cause stomach problems.Vitamins can be harmful to children & us if not taken correctly.
