We are bombarded with media and its messages; apparently, a North American student in High School spends more time watching TV than he does with his

be amazed how advertisers in TV and newspaper ads. etc. manipulate us. The more we understand how media operates, the less we will be conned. One of the first things a conquering army does is seize TV stations, newspapers and the like because if you control them, it is easy to control the populace.
