How do you set the Timing on a b m w 320i?

Timing is set thru the computer. You have to have your car hooked up to a computer and the computer program diagnosis sets your timing. You can do this thru a dealer. There are also mom and pop shops that can do this for you or you can even buy an aftermarket 'chip' that will do it for you.
