What detergent works best for bed bugs?

To best answer this question, any one will work. Soap (of any kind) will kill most insects as it inhibits them to breathe as it clogs up the breathing passages. Dish detergent is what I would suggest & the cheapest one will work. I would suggest a spray bottle with the same amount that you would use for a sink full of dishes added to a bottle almost full of water. Saturate the bed until it is wet to the touch. Let it air dry and then vacuum it if you want and then use clean, laundered linens. Make sure to open up the seams and spray them as well on the matress.
