Did the viper snake die before birth?

Viper snakes, like most live-bearing reptiles, do not die before birth. Instead, they give birth to live young that have developed inside the mother's body. However, if there are complications during gestation, such as health issues with the mother or environmental factors, it is possible for some embryos to die before birth. In healthy conditions, though, the young vipers are born alive and fully formed.
