During the 5th and 6th centuries, regions such as Ireland, much of Scotland, and parts of Wales were not predominantly inhabited by Britons. Instead, these areas were home to various Celtic tribes and cultures, distinct from the Britons of what is now England. Additionally, the Isle of Man and some areas of the Hebrides were also not inhabited by the Britons during this period.
