What was Henry's VII motive for killing the princes?

King Henry VIII of England married six times - his main reason was to try and produce a son who would be the undisputed, male heir to the throne.

He did not, personally, kill any of his wives - the two wives who were executed, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard, were tried and convicted by a court of law.
