What is the major accomplishment of Charles Martel?

Charles Martel had several major accomplishments. Possibly the one most often cited is that he stopped the Muslim advance into Europe at the Battle of Tours.

He also took over as ruler of the Kingdom of the Franks from the Merovingians, and though he was never crowned king himself, he ruled as though he were a king. He expanded the realm he ruled greatly, and founded the Carolingian Dynasty. He was the grandfather of Charlemagne, who ruled the largest empire in Western Europe since Roman times.
