Can you exchange something with no receipt at Publix?

I bought a milk shake electric maker at Aldi a couple of weeks ago - I took it out of the box but have not even washed it to use it. I need to return it (have the box) but do not have the receipt. I had it but I returned something very small last week and the cashier kept my receipt. Yhe cost was $19.95. I have had to cut down on my sweets and I just don't need it. Will you please let me know. Thanks
