Is it safe to eat pimento cheese after the sell by date?

I wish someone would answer this question. I want to know how long it is safe to keep opened pimento cheese refrigerated.

Depends on which kind of pimento cheese you have...

If you have a jar of pimento cheese spread which contains (Cheese, mayonnaise & pimentos) then the shelf life is 8-10 days.

If you have the sliced pimento cheese (loaf) then the shelf life is 4-5 days as sliced cheese tends to dry out..
