Whats in a cocktail called a side car?

The Sidecar is a classic cocktail traditionally made with 1 part Brandy or Cognac, 1 part Cointreau or Grand Marnier, and 1 part lemon juice. Mix the ingredients in a shaker half full of ice. Strain and serve in a sugar-rimmed glass. Garnish with a strip of lemon rind.
