How much do wolves eat in the wild?

Wolf cubs, like most mammals, drink milk for the first few weeks of their lives. They are then feed through regurgitation by older members of the pack until they are old enough to hunt on their own. Wolf cubs eat about 2 to 2 1/2 pounds a day.
