For the sake of simple explanation, a story and a narrative are the same thing. A narrative can be described as an account of an event and its incidents that it is composed of a tale or a story. A story is an oral narration or written narrative of a series of facts and events. Interpreted from a human point of view, a story always seems more interesting with a well defined beginning, middle, and an end. A narrative might suggest something more professional and a little boring: too many Words and not enough action. The difference between the Words is all in the mind of the reader.
