What happens if a baby bird is out of it's nest dead did the mom kick it out?

It depends. Sometimes a father bird dies, as they assist in feeding babies, and the mother can't handle all of them so she tosses the weaker ones out. But sometimes, if the baby has all of its feathers, it is supposed to be out of the nest. It may have died because of a disease, or it might have starved.
