Either water is somehow getting in from washing down the mower, with no filter, nothing to keep the water out (or dirt), or the mower isn't running long enough to burn off the moisture already in the oil. It could happen to ANY motor, especially in a high humid and or cool climate area. Make sure all the covers are there. Oil needs to get hot enough to evaporate any moisture, so if it just gets used a few minutes at a time it will just start getting a whitish looking color on all exposed surfaces in the crankcase. Like down the oil fill, dipstick, etc. It can get pretty thick. If oil is coming out of the air filter area then it sounds like the crankcase breather tube or hose is clogged, maybe from the oil crud. I'm guessing the crankcase breather probably goes to the filter area to be filtered?
