How many days are you able to travel after having appendix surgery?

I assume you meant to ask, "how many days should you wait before traveling after having an appendectomy"? As soon as the patient feels up to it. There is no magical time frame. You should not travel if running a temperature 101 or greater as this may indicate an infection of some sort. If you feel ok, it's ok. I've been a Physician Assistant for over twenty years and would not hesitate to tell my patients the same.
