What temperature can a hedgehog survive in?

Hedgehogs can generally survive in temperatures as low as 30°F (-1°C) for short periods, but prolonged exposure to cold can be harmful. They are more comfortable in temperatures between 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C). In colder climates, hedgehogs may hibernate to cope with winter temperatures, but they require a suitable environment to do so safely.
