How much do comic artists make a year generally?

It all depends on how popular your comic is. Also depends on what company you are with. The top 4 comic book companis are Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse and Image Comics. If it get's turned into a cartoon or movie than your going to make some huge bank. If it's popular without any media, than you will just be making a good living not a rich one. Some comic book artist have other jobs such as a game artist or something so they can get more money because it's hard to make a living off of Comics especially if yours don't sell too well.
