I have the same unit and the same problem. It's been really cold in my house for weeks now — in a Colorado winter! — and I'm so frustrated! But I just found some videos on YouTube that gave me the idea to follow the gas pipe with my finger, and that should lead to the place to aim the flame. The units in the video are not Rheem RGAC-080A, but the principle should work just the same. I'm going to try it. Why don't they make all gas furnaces the same on the inside, and why not make the pilot location really obvious with a bright red sticker or something so this kind of thing doesn't happen? Grmph.
