Sampaguita is Philippine's national flower because of its white color which symbolizes purity, strength, its fragrance, its popularity and its importance in the legends of the Filipino people. It's a species of jasmine which is found in Philippines, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Malay.

The sampaguita flower bloom full-year and have small, white, dainty, star-shaped blossoms, which open at night and wilt in less than a day.
