Can a colored pencil be used as eyeliner?

Most colored pencils are designed to write on paper rather than on skin, and are much too hard to use as an eyeliner (although there are also eyeliners that are made in the form of pencils). Test a pencil on your hand first; if it can color your hand, it can color your eyelid as well. Put don't press too hard! Eyes are delicate.
