What happened to Johann Huss as punishment for criticizing the church?

Johann Huss, a Czech theologian and reformer, was condemned for heresy due to his criticism of the Catholic Church, particularly regarding issues like indulgences and the authority of the papacy. In 1415, he was summoned to the Council of Constance, where he was arrested and later tried.
