The a/c is a pressure system, if you don't know what you are doing my advice is to take it to a professional shop where they can check for leaks and install the right amount of R134a Maybe you're talking about filling the system with one of those cans with Freon, oil, stopleak and O-ring conditioner. I did it myself, it is very effective and long lasting as long as you don't have significative leaks in your system. The can must be connected to the low pressure line (the alluminium line which connects to a thick hose). Don't worry, you can't connect it to the high pressure line (thin allumminium line) because the service ports are different and the can won't match the HP line port. Follow the can's directions.
