Don't wine or do anything that's not mature. Say that geckos can teach you responsibility because they can. They teach you how to take care of stuff. Tell your parents you will do all the work like paying half the money for it and the supplies. And you will feed it and clean its cage. This worked for me. Hope it works for you!!!!!
