What country do dogs come from?

Hot Dogs also known as frankfurters, wienie's, weiners, red hot,... and many other names were originated from Germany. Bashel Flugeik a local germanist was bored of local food items and decided to create something different. He started mixing meat together, and therefore created the hot dog. He never expected it to be such a hit as it is, But the hot dog is a great success today!
