Well, the first issue I can see is that you do not appear to know exactly what species of animal you are attempting to keep. Geckos are a huge family of lizards from a wide range of environments.
The most commonly kept species are leopard geckos and crested geckos, and their needs could not possibly be more different from each other.
I recommend you purchase a book on care for the species you have, and check your husbandry. Husbandry problems will be the number one cause of failure to thrive in captive reptiles.
Also, do not handle the animal until it's healthy and eating well, and if you believe it is sick, take it immediately to an experienced reptile veterinarian for a checkup and a fecal exam.
