How do you change air filter on duramax?

Open Hood

Get large and long Phillips head screwdriver.

Go to passenger side, just behind headlight you will see the air box, loosen the 4 screws (they wont come out) then remove the lid. Remove old filter and install new.

This is for 01-05 trucks only.
