Does the ostrich have a powerful kick?

An ostrich's kick could kill a cheetah, because it has a very large, heavy nail (claw) on each foot, on the larger toe. But in practice, an ostrich would likely not survive against a large cat, and the cheetah is one of the few predators that can outrun the bird.
