How did Capricorn change in the book of schooled?

He changed because he did not know what wedgies or never tasted Pizza. he has always been home schooled. but then he had to go to school he did not know what the bell meant but at the end he found out what it all meant. so basically he did not know what anything was to finding out what it meant.
