Define folk media

All media which are commonly used at small group or local level like drum beating,folk singing, local riddles, dancing, wall chalking, poetry of local saints, local theaters come under the ambit of folk media. It is also called traditional media or basic media or community media. It is face to face communication process and very effective as audience have direct interaction with medium or communicator.
