How long can a dog stand a heated car?

Most dogs can't stand long. On a hot day, a car can heat up in less than 10 minutes. On a cooler day, its a less chance that the car will heat and burn the dog. Not only dogs though, cats and any animals can over heat in a car, so I wouldn't recommend doing it at all.
