Are girls really smarter than boys?

The problem with this kind of question (although it does seem like a very interesting one) is that there is a hidden assumption, if the answer is yes, that every girl, even the least smart, is smarter than every boy, even the most smart. Of course, this is silly. The truth is that some girls are smarter than most boys, and some boys are smarter than most girls. Girls tend to do better in some things, and boys tend to do better in other things. The important things are to enjoy your friends who ever they are, and find friends who are interesting to you-- friends who also find you interesting. The "who's smarter" thing is not important
