Who used to say stand and deliver?

The phrase was allegedly spoken by Richard (Dick) Turpin(21 September 1705 - 7 April 1739 who was an infamous English rogue and highwayman), when he robbed carriages on the highway.

It was also sang by Adam Ant in a hit single of the same name in the early 80'.
