I am a heavier female having trouble mounting my horse I don't seem to have enough spring in my legs to mount Any suggestions besides a mounting block?

Well, if you don't want to use a mounting block, you could stretch your legs before you mount. This will get you muscles in your legs warmed up. Best Stretching Technique (Well, for me) : Keep your legs straight while bending down to touch your toes. Otherwise, though this may sound rude, -PLEASE don't take this the wrong way!- Lose some weight. Hope this helps. =]
